Dyad Workshop Potluck

At The Center for Conscious Living – February 3 – Saturday 8:30 am – 4 pm

On Saturday Feb 3, Virginia Burroughs and Bill Savoie will spend a relaxed day exploring the new power of dyads. With dyads we set aside the normal learning culture of books and knowledge gained through training. Using dyads we learn to trust ourselves and to speak from that place of inner awareness. This inner awareness takes time and support and it can't be rushed. Wisdom grows for each in it's own way.

We also call this a potluck because we want each person to bring something to share for lunch. We want to slow down lunch and allow for time to visit and share in talk. With a 'potluck lunch' we avoid the need for any overall workshop cost or fee. With a tone of light inquiry and being comfortable, we then have the perfect conditions to directly experience the power of the dyad.

Workshop Schedule

Experience directly the power of bring in a dyad! Allow yourself the freedom to be and know your true self. Allow this knowledge to be deep, not just on the level with intellectual ideas within a ‘what if’ simulation of reality. Allow your whole being to go beyond conceptualizations in a direct experience of reality, within a way it really is, in a complete union with truth.

In the words of Eihei Dogen - a Japanese Zen Master who lived between 1200 and 1253 -“To study the Way is to study the self. To study the self is to forget the self. To forget the self is to be enlightened by all things. To be enlightened by all things is to remove the barriers between one's self and others. Then there is no trace of enlightenment, though enlightenment itself continues into one's daily life endlessly.”
